My advice would be to give your fish the biggest aquarium that you can both house and afford. The rule of thumb and what is uniformly accepted throughout the oscar fish community is that a single adult oscar must have an absolute minimum of 55 gallons to itself. The entire purpose around maintaining a fish aquarium with oscars is to watch them grow into large carnivorous fish. While these fish grow aggressively on their own there are tried and true ways to increase an oscars size more quickly. This easy feat takes a little care to accomplish. What can i feed my oscar to get big I dont see any reason in rushing your fish to get big.

But if u insistthis what u should try. Good food alone is not enoughthey need space. Keep it in a bare tank since u will be doing two 50 water change daily. Feed it 5 times daily..and siphon off the unfinish food. Feed only 6 days a week. No feeding on the 7th day. The question should really be how soon till my oscar dies . The tank you have it in is way to small you need to get a 55 gallon pronto for that fish and get rid of the algae eater. Oscars get very big and given the right amount of space will get big quick so you need to get it a bigger tank now or get rid of it.
