Is my oscar fish dying
I have an Oscar that i have had for some time and it is dying. I think my Oscar fish is dying and I don t know what to do. Now he is staying close to the top and somewhat sideways.
It wasn t doing so well a few weeks ago and i got milo and treated the water and he seemed to get a little better but he is deteriorating each day and yesterday he just laid on the floor and you could tell it was hard for him to breathe.
Oscar fish He stayed on the bottom of the tank for several days not coming to the surface to eat as he usually did. I have one parrot fish and 4 silver dollar fish with him. This has been the same for a year. I clean the tank fairly often. Is my oscar fish dying I have bought an oscar fish from the shop yesterday only a little baby at the moment. When i got home the bag was floating in the tank with the oscar in it and he just kept lying on his side at the bottom of the bag. After we let him in the tank he went to the floor and keeps lying on his side. About every half hour he Is my oscar fish dying
I just bought a new oscar fish and when i took it home i let it sit in the bag in the new water so it could get used to the temperature. After about half an hour i let it go in it s new tank. But it has been laying on the bottom on its side. And will rarely move around. Okay my oscar is acting very strange. He started swimming all weird infront of the glass and had his mouth wide open and was attacking the glass. He would do this like every so often and it was almost like he was wanting to tell me something. He looked like he was going into shock as he would be sideways attacking the glass with his mouth wide wide open. My oscar is dying My friend has an oscar 3-4 years old with an algae fish the same size age in a 45 gal corner tank and they are both doing great.
