Oscar fish alive after three days medical treatment. our oscar is 3 months old we bought him as a baby. he is breathing but not responsive to us.

Oscar fish We noticed tonight he is laying on his side the bottom of the tank. Usually he swims right to you or if you call his name the top of the tank he comes up knows he is getting fed. He is in a 55 gal tank all testing of ph ect has came out normal. My tiger oscar is laying on his side. Looks as if he breathing hard to an appears to be loosing slime . Did a water change an water tests everything is fine. Have two other oscars in there with him an there fine. Only thing i can think of is he got something from the feeder fish i feed them. Which i don t do often.

The oscar could also be suffering a bladder problem. Dont worry this can be fixed easily simply take a frozen pea or a raw pea whatever works best for you and boil it then feed it to your oscar with some feeding tongs. Peas are a natural lacsitive for fish so it will empty your oscars intestine.
